more video games and less fruit cups please
Somehow, Dad got me to eat a fruit cup today. It was this cute little cup of fruits with pineapples, cherries and other assorted fruits that I can't even name inside - he randomly said it was really good so I should try it, so I did. God, fruits in fruit cups are slimy! It felt totally gross, just squirming down my throat, and the fruit juice was so sweet... That stuff is supposed to be good for you, but I guess I'm just not used to foods that don't have anything artificial or preservatives! Do fruit cups have preservatives? I don't know, but it made me feel like I just sucked a snail out of it's shell. My dad sort of grinned and was like, "It tastes good, right?" Haha, of course, totally yummy...

Okay, so I've finally come up with my finalized Christmas List! For someone who only gets games at Christmas, this is a very important occasion for me. Sadly, I don't think I'm going to get everything on this list, but that's cool; I'll still end up totally stoked either way.

Okay so I'm also planning to replay a lot of games too, and actually beat some games that I have lying around that I've kind of just abandoned... I'm tired of being a gamer who starts a lot of games but rarely ever finishes any!  And I've never really replayed any game, except for Dragon Age but that's 'cause I wanted to see the different endings... So yeah, list time again!

I also want to rewatch Advent Children, and watch Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. I actually own a copy of both, 'cause I'm a frickin' lamer. I wish I owned Advent Children: Complete though. I mean, that's what you get for actually buying shit. All they'll do is just come out with a better and more advanced version that the shit that you bough. Lame. And I've never watched The Spirits Within - my uncle lent it to me a while ago and I never got around to watching it... No idea what it's about, too lazy the read the back. (Yesss, I'm a lazy ass, I know.)

Speaking of Final Fantasy, [community profile] areyougame has posted up it's December prompts, and I'm tempted to take the Crisis Core/Advent Children crossover prompt that's due for Dec. 10th:

Crossover: Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core/Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children: Timewarp AU/Crisis Core has a case of SHM - ”Sephiroth, you have to do something about them.” “Why should I?” “Because, apparently, they’re yours.”

Imagine the possibilities! Ugh, but I swore off fanfiction, but hell, what's wrong with fanfiction? It's just for fun, right? Right? Ugh. I don't know. I shouldn't even be worrying about that. My Pridea piece for the art trade between me and [personal profile] razzberree isn't even done yet - it's getting there, but it's not done. Get back to writing, Kiri! Stop goofing off!

Watching this video kind of inspired me to start playing more Final Fantasy games... Cheesy, I know, leave me alone!

dazzling the stage! galactic pretty boy!
I've been watching my fair share of anime this season, but one of my absolute favorites has to be STAR DRIVER. Take a mecha anime, mix it together with a fabulously hilarious and heroic lead, stir in tons of mystery, drama, and badass music, and you'll get STAR DRIVER: Takuto of the Radiance, a mecha/high school anime that... really, how to explain this?

It starts out with our hero, Takuto, laying half dead on a beach after swimming all the way from the main land to an island where he'll be attending school. Yes, you heard me right, he SWIMS. Apparently, he missed the boat and decided to do what every logical person would do... swim there! He's found by two passerby, Wako and Sugata, who save his crazy arse and take him back to their house so he can recover.

Later, we learn that this island is protected by a variety of Shrine Maidens, who are being captured one by one by a group called Glittering Crux (or Glittering Star... it's never really made clear) who all pilot mechas and are trying to "break" all of the Shrine Maiden's "seals" so that their mechas ("Cybodies") can all advance to the next level. We find that Takuto can also pilot a Cybody, one of the biggest, baddest cybodies around, Tauburn. When Takuto summons his Cybody he transforms into... Well, see for yourself!

I wonder if I should do posts like this more often? It's rare when anime gets me this excited, but when it does, I can't help myself!
